Living abroad has always been a dream of mine, and I’ve been passionate about learning English since I was young. After working for over six years at an IT company in Tokyo, I felt the need to challenge myself and reshape both my lifestyle and career. That’s what led me to move to Canada and start a new chapter in my life.

The Power of Social Media in Everyday Life


One of the reasons I decided to study digital marketing is because I’ve always enjoyed using social media to find information—whether it’s for travel, shopping, or discovering new places.

I’ve always enjoyed browsing hashtags, watching reels, and reading honest reviews from real people. Unlike ads on TV or billboards, social media felt personal and real. This is what first made me curious about why certain content grabs attention while others don’t.

Living in Vancouver, I often use Instagram when I want to find new restaurants, cafes, or places to explore. Seeing real photos and experiences from local people helps me make decisions and feel more connected to the community.

That experience made me realize how deeply social media is embedded in our daily decision-making process. For many people today, platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok are more than just tools for communication—they are powerful marketing channels.

From User to Strategist


In my current studies, I’ve worked on basic SEO, content strategy, and tools like Canva, Google Ads, and CapCut. Each project helps me see how digital marketing is both creative and analytical. I enjoy learning how to turn ideas into content that speaks to people.

Looking Ahead


Now, as a digital marketing student, I’m learning how to use these tools not just as a consumer, but as a creator and strategist. In the future, I hope to support small businesses by helping them grow their online presence and connect with the right audiences.

Through this journey, I’ve realized that digital marketing is not just about selling—it’s about understanding people, creating value, and building trust. I’m excited to keep learning, growing, and hopefully, supporting meaningful projects in the near future.
